Three suspects have been apprehended and several firearms have been seized by the Jackson Police Department on Wednesday.
Police said they responded to a shots-fired call early on April 1. When they arrived, they discovered that a house and a car had been hit by gunshots.
Following the inquiry, authorities executed a search warrant at a property, seizing three pistols, four AR-15-style rifles, and a minor amount of suspected drugs.
Later that day, the department’s detective bureau expanded the investigation by conducting a second search warrant at a related residence. During the search, officers discovered another firearm, as well as additional suspected drugs and packing supplies.
The Jackson Police Department announced the arrest of three individuals on similar charges.
