A Mississippi man is facing multiple drug charges and child endangerment in Walker County.
Deputies from the Walker County Sheriff’s Office detained Jarod Wade Pitts at the Walker-Fayette County line near Townley on Monday, according to officials.
Pitt was charged with possessing methamphetamine and fentanyl, possessing drug paraphernalia, and endangering the welfare of a child.
“This arrest is a direct result of the proactive work of our patrol deputies, who continue to be out every day and night protecting our communities, removing dangerous drugs from our streets, and keeping our communities safe,” WCSO officials posted on social media.
Pitts’ bond has been set at $100,000.
