2 people arrested after stolen Kia and drugs found in Motel 6 parking lot in Linthicum

Two people were taken into custody in connection with a stolen vehicle and drugs in Linthicum last Friday afternoon, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Around 3:22 p.m. on April 3, an officer got a report of a stolen car in the 5100 block of Raynor Avenue.

The officer discovered the vehicle, a 2008 Kia Rio, in the Motel 6 parking lot, with two occupants inside.

The driver was caught in possession of approximately 27.17 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 14.24 grams of suspected fentanyl, 1.02 grams of an unknown white drug, and $1,327 cash.

Jacori Coates, 41, of Curtis Bay, and Horacio Silva, of Hanover, were detained and charged.
