Two women were apprehended on multiple warrants and drug-related crimes following a car stop in Harrison County early Tuesday, according to authorities.
Around 2:30 a.m., Harrison County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on U.S. Highway 250 near the Harrison-Tuscarawas County line, according to a press release.
What began as a routine traffic stop ended with both occupants arrested on outstanding warrants, as well as fresh allegations of driving while suspended, bulk possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug abuse instruments, and obstructing justice.
Nicole Shundry, 36, of Canton, is charged with driving while suspended for OVI, possession of drug paraphernalia, and multiple outstanding arrest warrants.
Celiena Robinson, 28, of Sebring, is charged with possession of drugs in large quantities, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug abuse instruments, and obstructing justice. She is also wanted on an outstanding worldwide warrant.
