Rodney E. Pierce, 72

Rodney E. Pierce, 72, of Long Bottom, OH, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 at Holzer-Meigs Emergency Department in Pomeroy.

He was born Nov. 20, 1946 in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Dora Larkins and Rodney E. Pierce.

He is survived by two sons, Eldon Pierce and Terry Pierce; a nephew, Elmo (Steph) Pierce; two nieces, Kathryn Durst (David Dye) and Linda (Rick) Putman; several great-nieces and great-nephews and a special companion, his cat, “Little Man.”

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol; two sons, Rodney and Terry; a step-son, Owen; a brother, Elmo and a sister, Tammy.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH. There will be no funeral service.
