Police: 14-year-old And 15-year-old Shot In Broad Daylight In Chicago

Two teenage boys were shot in broad daylight on Saturday afternoon in Chicago, according to authorities.

Around 5:50 p.m., a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were outside in the 3800 block of South Artesian Avenue in Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood when they were shot, police said.

The 14-year-old was shot in the stomach and leg, while the 15-year-old was struck in the arm. Both were taken to local hospitals. Authorities said the 14-year-old was initially listed in serious condition, while the 15-year-old was in good health.

Authorities are still investigating.

No other information was immediately provided.
