Richardson Police are investigating the deaths of three people who they suspect were involved in a murder-suicide on Wednesday, according to a department press release.
Police say they received a call at 5:30 a.m. from a worried family member who was not at home but requested officers conduct a welfare check at an apartment on East Buckingham Road.
Officials said when officers entered the residence, they discovered the deaths of three people: an adult male, an adult woman, and a child. According to the Richardson Police Department, detectives are actively investigating the facts surrounding the occurrence, although it is being treated as a possible murder-suicide.
The three individuals’ names have not been revealed pending notification of next of kin.
