A two-year-old child died after being shot in Dallas on Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
At 1:20 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Hemphill Drive. When they arrived, they discovered that the toddler had been shot.
According to investigators, the child died after being admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux issued a statement saying, “This is a heartbreaking and unacceptable loss.” “The death of a two-year-old is an unfathomable sorrow.
