Police said a body was discovered as officers executed a warrant in Columbia on Wednesday.
The Columbia Police Department reported that police were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on the 1100 block of Benton Street. According to CPD, officers discovered a man’s body at the home after they arrived.
A department representative confirmed the ongoing investigation into the death, but they did not immediately disclose any other information.
