One vehicle crashed on State Route 7 out back of Pomeroy on March 5, 2019. Submitted photo.

POMEROY, Ohio – One vehicle rolled over along State Route 7 outside of Pomeroy on March 5, 2019.

Pomeroy Fire Department, Station 1, responded to a one car rollover on State Route 7, near Dead Man’s Curve, in Salisbury Township. Pumper 1 responded to the scene to find the vehicle on its top, in the ditch, alongside southbound Route 7.

According to the fire department, one occupant in the vehicle was able to exit the vehicle with no injuries prior to the fire department and squad arriving on-scene. Due to the vehicle being off the roadway, EMS and fire crews parked on Dead Man’s Curve to keep traffic moving while the reports were taken. Personnel stayed on-site until the Ohio State Highway Patrol arrived and released the fire department.

Responding to the 12:30 p.m. crash was Pomeroy Pumper 1, Meigs EMS, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
