2 Teens Apprehended After Lawn Mower Social Media Stunt Inside Ocala Target

Two 18-year-olds have been apprehended after police say they filmed a social media stunt involving a lawn mower inside a retail store, causing property damage and endangering public safety.

According to the Ocala Police Department, the event occurred on April 25, 2026, at a Target store on Southwest College Road.

Investigators believe Janek Szkaradek drove a lawn mower through the store, destroying a door, while Luke Charske recorded the incident.

Police said the stunt came after another incident the night before, when Szkaradek allegedly utilized a leaf blower inside a nearby Culver’s restaurant.

Authorities stated the actions harm customers and personnel and cause property damage.

Szkaradek was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct in connection with the Culver’s incident, as well as disorderly conduct in the Target incident.

Charske was charged as a main with disorderly conduct for his role in filming the stunt inside Target.

Police warned that such actions are not innocuous and could result in criminal charges.
