Constable Mark Herman’s Office deputies arrested a suspect hiding in an attic during a warrant serving.
The arrest occurred in the 15300 block of Sierra Pines Ct. when the defendant attempted to evade capture by concealing himself in an attic. According to a news statement from Constable Mark Herman’s office, deputies from the Special Operations Unit and the K-9 Unit promptly discovered and detained the suspect without incident.
The suspect had an active felony warrant for assault, as confirmed by the deputies. “Criminals can run but not hide. Our deputies will find and hold you accountable. Outstanding coordination by our Special Operations and K-9 Units in safely apprehending this subject,” said Constable Mark Herman.
