A 66-year-old Madison man was detained Tuesday morning on suspicion of his fourth driving while intoxicated offense.
The Wisconsin State Patrol DeForest Post responded to an accident on I-39/90 northbound at mile marker 146 near Stoughton.
The trooper observed signs of impairment in one of the drivers involved. Following an inquiry, the driver was arrested for his fourth OWI.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is now investigating the incident.
