UPDATE: Carlos De Leon-Acosta has been found safe and unharmed.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police’s Special Victims Investigations Division are seeking public assistance in locating Carlos De Leon-Acosta, a 14-year-old who has gone missing.
De Leon-Acosta was last seen on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in the 300 block of Colesville Manor Drive, Silver Spring. He stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall; weighs 140 pounds; and has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Carlos is known to frequent the 8000 block of Allendale Drive in Hyattsville, Maryland.
