1 dead, 5 injured after three-vehicle crash in Crawford County

ohio – One person has died and several others suffered injuries following a three-vehicle crash near Galion.

The collision happened on U.S. 30, east of State Route 598, shortly after 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Medics pronounced a female passenger dead at the scene upon arrival. Two male passengers in the same vehicle suffered injuries and remain in critical condition. The driver and two young boys in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for further evaluation. Three individuals in the other two vehicles were not injured.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Crestline Fire Department, Galion Fire Department, Jefferson Township Fire Department, Crawford County Coroner’s Office, Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Enforcement Unit all responded to the crash.
