Dayton police searching for two suspects linked to 3 a.m. gas station robbery

The Dayton Police Department is searching for two suspects connected to a suspected robbery.

Around 3 a.m. on May 4, officers responded to 1415 South Smithville Road, near a Shell gas station in Dayton, following a reported robbery.

The suspects allegedly entered a victim’s unlocked vehicle while the victim was inside the gas station.

One suspect reportedly pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the car keys. The victim refused, and both suspects then fled in the same white sedan they had arrived in.
