Two people were apprehended and multiple guns and drugs were seized during a police investigation in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood early Friday morning, authorities said.
According to Pittsburgh police, detectives began looking into behavior outside a shop in the 1600 block of Brownsville Road.
After obtaining search warrants, investigators apprehended two individuals and discovered seven weapons, cocaine, four bundles of heroin, two bricks of heroin, marijuana, and more than $5,000 in cash.
Police identified the accused as Mello Williams, 24, and Matyus Stewart, 19, both from Pittsburgh.
According to authorities, both face weapons and narcotics possession accusations. Williams has also been charged with escaping police.
The investigation is underway.
