Over a dozen people are facing child exploitation charges in West Alabama.
The West Alabama Intercept Task Force said on Tuesday that 13 people had been detained for allegedly traveling to meet a minor for criminal sexual behavior.
“These arrests send a clear message: those who target children will be identified, investigated, and held accountable,” authorities stated. “Together, we remain committed to safeguarding our children and standing against exploitation in all forms.”
The identities of those arrested have not been published.
