Lock Haven man charged for kissing 14-year-old

A Clinton County man was charged after allegedly kissing a 14-year-old girl in a local park.

On July 16, Trooper Joseph Yedlosky responded to the 100 block of Prospect Avenue in Jersey Shore to investigate a claim of minor corruption.

The trooper met and spoke with a witness who claimed she observed Alex Payton Sycz, 19, of Lock Haven, kiss a 14-year-old girl in Flemington’s Grove Park on the evening of July 15.

Trooper Yedlosky then met with and interrogated Sycz, who allegedly confessed kissing the minor only twice and was aware that she was under 18 while he was 19.

Sycz was charged with corrupting minors. He was previously convicted of theft after taking $40 from a Dunkin’ Donuts register.
