An autistic girl reported missing from Westmoreland County has been located in Harrisburg, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Samantha Miscik, 17, left her home at around 4:40 a.m. on July 24 with a male driving a Subaru Outback, and was transported to Lancaster later that day.
Miscik was considered endangered due to her autism and mental health concerns. Police said she also left home without her glasses.
Police stated she frequents homeless encampments.
In an update on Monday, police said the male who drove her to Lancaster had been identified but was no longer connected in the case.
About 90 minutes later, police announced that Miscik had been located in Harrisburg and was in their possession.
