An Augusta man has been charged with rape following a sexual assault reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office last month.
Jakarri Marquell Warren, 23, was arrested on July 22 after a victim reported a sexual assault on Muscadine Drive, according to an incident report.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation and identified Warren as the suspect.
Warren is charged with one count of rape.
He is being held at the Richmond County Jail.
