Four people are in custody in Jefferson County after state police say they apprehended the group with a stolen weapon following an allegation of vehicle break-ins in Big Run Boro early Tuesday morning.
According to criminal complaints filed by Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney, 20-year-old Kenneth Jebedi Raspe Jr. of Gypsy, 21-year-old Aaron Scott March Jr. of Elmora, 18-year-old Amaya Sky Gaither of Big Run, and 18-year-old Marissa Jade Craft of Punxsutawney are all charged in connection with the August 4 incident.
According to the affidavits, state police arrived to Church Street in Big Run Boro at 2:22 a.m. after receiving a report of persons accessing automobiles. According to authorities, a witness saw two people enter a yellow Jeep before transferring to a pickup truck. According to the complaints, the witness reported seeing a silver SUV parked down the street.
According to the complaints, while on their way to the location, troopers discovered a silver Kia Sportage in a nearby laundry parking lot. State police reported seeing Gaither and Craft exit the vehicle and walk away as officers approached.
According to the affidavits, troopers made contact with Raspe in the driver’s seat and March in the rear seat. According to the accusations, investigators found open alcohol containers inside the vehicle and detected a strong alcohol stench.
According to the allegations, troopers asked March to exit the vehicle and found a tan Sig Sauer P320 M18 handgun on the floorboard behind the front passenger seat. According to police, March also dropped another person’s debit card as he stepped out.
Police said a check of the weapon revealed it belonged to a Church Street homeowner. According to the affidavits, the owner informed authorities that the rifle had been taken overnight from his truck.

Aaron Scott March Jr.:
- Possession of Firearm Prohibited, Felony 1

- Receiving Stolen Property, Felony
- Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Misdemeanor 1 (two counts)

All four defendants were arraigned on August 4 before Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana, according to court records.
March is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on $75,000 monetary bond, while Raspe, Gaither, and Craft are being held on 10% of their $20,000 bail, according to documents.
The defendants’ preliminary hearings have yet to be scheduled.
