The local DEA office has announced that authorities have seized the most meth in Indiana history.
According to a news release issued on Friday, DEA agents, ATF, Homeland Security, and Indiana State Police seized more than 800 pounds of methamphetamine in the Indianapolis region.
The seizure occurred earlier this week, according to the DEA.
Officials confirmed that this is the largest single meth seizure in Indiana’s history.
No more information, such as where the meth was seized or whether any arrests were made, was immediately given. DEA authorities stated that additional information will be revealed in the “near future.”
