Woman convicted of murdering stepchild in Pennsylvania

A woman has been convicted of murdering a two-year-old child in her care, just across the border from West Virginia.

According to Fayette County, Pennsylvania District Attorney Mike Aubele’s Facebook post, Brianna Bloyer, 32, was found guilty of third-degree murder in the death of her two-year-old stepchild Bentlee Myers.

Aubele stated that Bloyer died on August 19, 2024, from blunt force injuries to the head. Additional evidence provided by the Commonwealth revealed that Bloyer had several cuts and bruises that were in various stages of healing.

The case was investigated by Trooper Wyatt Tidholm of the Pennsylvania State Police and prosecuted by Aubele and Assistant District Attorney Bryan Pavina.
