UPDATE: Missing woman with destination of Waseca located safe

UPDATE: Authorities say Nilda Carlevarino has been located safe.

Original: The West St. Paul Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing lady who apparently planned to travel to Waseca.

Nilda Carlevarino, 74, was last seen leaving her house near the 200 block of Bernard Street East in West St. Paul at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, according to authorities. She was apparently dressed in jean shorts, a white and blue striped shirt, black sunglasses, a bracelet on her right wrist, pink nail polish, earrings, and carrying a black purse with gold accents.

She is described as a white woman who stands approximately 5′06″ tall and weighs around 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Carlevarino’s intended destination was in Waseca, but authorities observed that she had not yet arrived.

According to police, her vehicle, a 2012 Silver KIA Soul with the plate number KSK143, was last seen at the intersection of Oakdale Avenue and Mendota Road in West St. Paul at 6:15 p.m. Friday.

Authorities also express concern about her safety.
