A former New Orleans high school teacher faces federal prison for trafficking an underage runaway.
A federal court sentenced Aaron Terod Johnson, 38, to 33 years in prison this week after a jury found him guilty of sex trafficking a 16-year-old girl.
Investigators claim Johnson picked up the teen in Mississippi, drove her to his New Orleans residence, and paid her $200 for sex before tossing her out into the rain.
After serving his 33-year jail sentence, Johnson will be subject to lifetime monitoring and must register as a sex offender.
