An investigation is underway in Orange County after deputies arrived to an apartment complex early Monday morning.
Around 2:30 a.m., deputies were summoned to the Citrus Oaks Apartments, located in the 4800 block of Orange Blossom Trail near Holden Avenue. They discovered a man in his 40s with “obvious signs of trauma” when they arrived. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to dispatch audio, a deputy was involved in an incident before the individual was discovered. The same audio suggested that the trauma warning was unrelated to the deputy.
The investigation continues. Officials say no other information is available at this time.
