A Baltimore resident won $60,000 on a Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket last week, the largest prize claimed statewide between Aug. 17 and Aug. 23.
The winning “THE BIG SPIN” ticket was purchased from Dutch Liquors on Cleanleigh Drive in Parkville, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The week also included 11 prizes of $50,000 each.
Three Bonus Match 5 tickets purchased at White Plains Wine & Spirits in White Plains were matched for $50,000 each in the Aug. 17 drawing. As of August 24, all three tickets remained unclaimed.
Pick 5 tickets valued at $50,000 were also sold in Baltimore, Fulton, Germantown, Owings Mills, Suitland, and Waldorf. Two winning $50,000 Pick 5 tickets were sold at the Royal Farms on Red Run Boulevard in Owings Mills.
A $50,000 Powerball ticket for the August 19 drawing was sold at Korner Liquors on Old Washington Road in Waldorf. That ticket remained unclaimed as of August 24.
Meanwhile, the Maryland Lottery announced that the Ravens X2 scratch-off game had generated its first $20,000 top prize winner. The ticket was sold at Cumberland’s Circle K.
The scratch-offs page at mdlottery.com displays the last dates for claiming tickets.During the week, 35 tickets paid out rewards of at least $10,000, bringing the total Lottery payment to roughly $26 million, according to officials.
