A two-vehicle crash near the Lehigh-Northampton County line sent three people to the hospital Sunday.
It occurred shortly after 11:15 a.m. in Walnutport, Northampton County.
Police at the scene reported that two vehicles were involved.
They reported that three victims were rushed to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries remained unknown. Emergency services had to extract one of the injured from the wreckage, they added.
Firefighters responded and cleared the situation, closing one side of Route 145/South Best Avenue near the Giant grocery store.
The Walnutport Boro Police Department has not yet provided information on what caused the crash.
