A Massachusetts casino player recently won the jackpot after placing a $3.75 bet.
According to the company, the bet was made during “Huff N’More Puff” on August 30 at Encore Boston Harbor, and it paid out $27,790.21.
In total, the casino paid out over $50 million among 17,638 jackpots in August. This includes $47,680,649.47 from 17,480 slot jackpots, with the highest payout of $80,038.92 won on “Buffalo Cash” on August 30.
In addition, roughly 1.4 million was paid out in 158 table game jackpots in August. The greatest progressive jackpot was $217,478.80, won on “BlackJack” on August 19 with a $5 side play that triggered the progressive.
The Encore Boston Harbor casino includes over 2,700 slot machines and over 175 table games.
Last August, Encore Boston Harbor broke a new jackpot payment record, awarding more than $46.3 million to lucky winners across its gaming floors. Another record was broken on New Year’s Day, when a Quincy resident won a life-changing prize at Encore Boston Harbor.
