Police reported seizing 75 grams of cannabis and over 4 grams of crack cocaine and ecstasy from a suspected drug dealer during a traffic stop on Sunday night.
Rockford Police stated officers from the Specialized Community Oriented Police Enforcement (SCOPE) team stopped a car near E. State Street and Madison approximately 11:42 p.m. and discovered the drugs in the back passenger’s possession, Jzeaon Aldridge, 22.
Aldridge was taken into custody and charged with cocaine possession with the purpose to deliver, ecstasy possession with intent to deliver, cannabis possession with intent to deliver, and resisting arrest.
He was put into the Winnebago County Jail pending the outcome of a pretrial detention hearing.
