The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a nighttime club shooting that injured several people.
According to authorities, about 1 a.m. on Sunday, Richland County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to a shots-fired complaint in the 2700 block of Decker Blvd.
Deputies arrived at the location to find two victims with gunshot wounds who had been brought to a local hospital by EMS, according to authorities.
According to investigators, as officers were investigating, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department discovered that six more victims with gunshot wounds had been transported to area hospitals.
This incident is being investigated.
