A Florida man from St. Johns County took home a $1,104,476.06 jackpot on Saturday, August 29, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
The visitor hit the jackpot while playing Aristocrat Gaming’s Dragon Link Panda Magic slot machine. Before winning, he bet $150 on a machine with a $2 denomination.
This is the second million-dollar jackpot hit at the hotel this month, and the seventh time this year that a Dragon Link machine has paid out more than $1 million at the Tampa location.
Earlier payouts from the Dragon Link series at the casino this year include:
- $1,778,409.22 on a $25 bet on February 10 (Panda Magic)
- $1,031,399.98 on a $25 bet on February 15 (Panda Magic)
- $1,217,759.02 on a $250 bet on March 16 (Panda Magic)

According to the resort, the continued wins follow its distinction as the “Luckiest Casino in the U.S.” for the second year in a row.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has 245,000 square feet of gaming space. The casino has 5,230 slot machines and table games like blackjack, baccarat, poker, live craps, roulette, and a sports betting area.
