35-year-old Man dead after head-on crash in Hancock County, coroner says

A 55-year-old man is dead after a deadly crash in Hancock County Wednesday night, according to Hancock County Coroner Dontrelle Andrews.

He says the accident occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Linton Road, roughly a mile before the Baldwin-Hancock County boundary.

Andrews said that Quintavious Bundrage, 35, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The coroner’s office reports that Bundrage’s family has been notified.

According to Andrews, the collision involved a sedan and a compact Jeep SUV colliding head on.

He claims Bundrage was driving the sedan while the driver of the Jeep was taken to a hospital, where their condition is unknown as of Friday morning.

Andrews was informed of the fatality approximately 5:40 p.m., about 20 minutes after the incident occurred.

According to Andrews, Bundrage’s body will be brought to the GBI crime lab on Thursday morning for an autopsy, which will determine the cause of death. At this time, he adds Bundrage’s official cause of death is unknown.
