Colorado fugitive apprehended in El Paso after traffic stop

A 38-year-old man was apprehended Friday in the Lower Valley after a traffic stop revealed that he is wanted by Colorado law enforcement.

According to the El Paso County Constable’s Office Precinct 1, at around 7:20 p.m., deputies stopped Frank Eddie Soria near the intersection of Lafayette and North Yarbrough Drive after noticing a white Saturn Vue with expired registration.

Deputies stated that during the traffic stop, they discovered a warrant for Soria’s arrest out of Colorado.

Soria was apprehended and sent to the El Paso County Downtown Jail, where he was charged with fugitive from justice and held without bond.
