A wanted Turtle Creek woman has been taken into custody on six outstanding bench warrants.
The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office says Nyzjayah Majors, 24, was apprehended at an apartment in the 1100 block of Bower Hill Road.
Majors has been a fugitive since early July, when five bench warrants were issued for probation violations in cases where she pled guilty to robbery or conspiracy. In August, a sixth bench warrant was issued when she failed to appear for a firearms trial.
Detectives learned that Majors was inside the Bower Hill Road apartment. After establishing her presence inside, investigators entered the home and apprehended her without incident.
Two additional males and one woman were present at the residence when Majors was arrested. One of the guys, Jordan Johnson, was discovered to have an active detainer from the Pennsylvania State Parole Department. Authorities apprehended Johnson and took him and Majors to the Allegheny County Jail.
