Pomeroy FD Seeking Information on Trailer Fire
POMEROY, Ohio – On March 13, 2020 Pomeroy Fire Department Station 1 responded to a fire investigation on White Oak Road, and the intersection of Mohler Road, in Bedford Township.
Upon arrival, crews found an unoccupied residential trailer that caught fire overnight and burned to the ground. Personnel found part of a porch that was smoldering and extinguished the fire.
According to the fire department, “Due to conflicting stories concerning the property, crews called the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s office for an investigator to determine the origin. The Pomeroy Fire Department is asking for anyone with information regarding this fire to contact our business line at 740-992-2663, and leave a message with information on how the arson investigator can reach you.”
Responding was Pomeroy Pumpers 1 & 3, the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office, and Ohio State Fire Marshal.
