Fall River Police have arrested a man on several drug charges after an investigation.
According to police, on Saturday, members of the Fall River Police Department’s Community Action & Suppression Team were patrolling Corky Row when they noticed a gray Toyota Tundra.
Following a brief inquiry, a vehicle stop was made. When the vehicle was stopped, Keyante Mills Sr., the front-seat passenger, reportedly became uncooperative and directed the driver to leave with police.
The subsequent investigation led to the seizure of roughly 11.34 grams of suspected fentanyl, 9.83 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and $673 cash.
Mills was taken into custody and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, possessing a Class B narcotic with the intent to distribute, and trafficking in more than 10 grams of fentanyl.
He is likely to be arraigned on Tuesday in Fall River District Court.
Every defendant is deemed innocent until proven guilty in court.
