Michael Earl Schartiger, 49, of Point Pleasant, W.V. passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at home. He was born on December 17, 1970 in Point Pleasant, W.V. to the late Okey Schartiger and Georgia Gilmore. He was a carpenter.
He is survived by his son, Justin Schartiger, his sisters, Debbie Gilmore (Jim Lane) of Gallipolis, OH, Loretta (Mark) Flint of Gallipolis OH, Diana Ferguson of West Columbia, W.V., Linda (TD) Dennis of Point Pleasant, W.V., Connie (Eric) Mitchell of Rutland, OH, and brothers, Okey (Karen) Schartiger of Cheshire, OH, Larry Gilmore of Cheshire, OH, Rick (Linda) Gilmore of Gallipolis Ferry, W.V., Roger Schartiger (Paula Stewart) of Gallipolis, OH. Michael is also survived by his half sisters, Barbara Schartiger of Mason, W.V., Carol (Donnie) Fowler of Mason, W.V., Judy (Randy) Perry of Orrville, OH, and half brothers, Walter (Vicki) Schartiger of Gallipolis Ferry, W.V., Stephen (Mary) of Pomeroy, OH and Mark Schartiger of Pomeroy, OH.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Gilmore and half brother, James Schartiger.
Private funeral services are under the direction of Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home.
