Editor’s Note: The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office Deputies respond to all sorts of calls. The notebook is a listing of the public record of those calls. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office calls on May 28, 2020:
Identity theft – Call came in that someone had filed for the caller for unemployment. The matter is under investigation.
Complaint – A call was received concerning an issue with a man being rude with convenience store clerks at Taz’s.
Crawling through window – A Rutland area resident called saying his neighbor had notified him that a female, Brittany Shuler, was seen crawling through a window in the home of his home. The neighbor also called police. Deputies had been there before to make the woman leave. Shuler was taken into custody.
Overdose – A call was received for a reported overdose on Forest Run Road.
