Meigs up to 36 Active COVID-19 Cases

POMEROY, Ohio – The Meigs County Health Department is reporting four additional confirmed cases and one probable case of COVID-19 in Meigs County. These cases of COVID-19 bring Meigs County to 36 active cases, and 251 total cases (210 Confirmed, 41 Probable) since April.

October 30 Cases:
  • Confirmed case, female in the 20 to 29-year-old age range, who is not hospitalized.
  • Confirmed case, male in the 50 to 59-year-old age range, who is not hospitalized.
  • Confirmed case, female in the 40 to 49-year-old age range, who is not hospitalized.
  • Confirmed case, female in the 20 to 29-year-old age range, who is not hospitalized.
  • Probable case, female in the 50 to 59-year-old age range, who is not hospitalized.

The Meigs County Health Department asks residents to please refrain from calling the Health Department for questions regarding these cases while they complete disease investigations, contact tracing, and notify relevant individuals. The cases and individuals identified as contacts of these cases will be advised to self-quarantine in accordance with CDC guidance.
