Kiddie Tractor Pull of Champions Held at Meigs County Fair
ROCKSPRINGS, Ohio – The Kiddie Tractor Pull of Champions took place at the Meigs County Fair this week.
On Friday, Aug. 20, the winners from throughout the week in their respective weight classes came together to see who would be the overall champion. Monday through Thursday of the Meigs County Fair, there is a daily kiddie tractor pull. Those champions then come together to pull for the Pull of Champions. The event is popular and draws several hundred youth throughout the week of the fair.
This year the Kiddie Tractor Pull at the Meigs County Fair changed locations with the event being held in the Thompson Roush Building. During the Fair the Thompson Roush Building houses antique tractor displays along with Grange displays and the Flower Show.
The Kiddie Tractor Pull is open to all youth 11 years of age and under that are 35-75 pounds. There are two categories, 35-55 pounds and 56-75 pounds.
The 2021 Pull of Champions were 35-55 pounds: first, Brileigh Marcinko; second, Layne Hupp; third, Blake Smith; fourth, Ariana Bland. In the 55-75 pounds class: first, Colten Grubb; second, Weston Smith; third, Sawyer Bradford; fourth, Treyson Mullen.
