Sondra “Sandy” Koenig Marshall

Sondra “Sandy” Koenig Marshall, 72, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 13, 1949, in Steubenville, Ohio.  She married and moved to Meigs County, Ohio in 1970.

Sandy is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Koenig Jr. and daughter, Christy Ann Koenig Martin.

She is survived by her children, Leonard E. (Carolyn) Koenig, Sheila A. (Kris) Whitmore, Bonnie J. (Scott) Williams, and David M. Koenig; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and one brother.

Sandy retired from Eastern High School as a custodian for 30+ years. She loved her job and the students and they loved her. Sandy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation for family friends will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio.
