Marylyn Wilcox

Marylyn Wilcox, 83 of Middleport, passed on to be with her heavenly father on Monday March 27, 2023 alongside her children at the Darst  Care Home in Pomeroy. 

Born May 10, 1939, the daughter of the late Allen and Mary Sisson Roush, She was a member of the Middleport Church of Christ where she was able to use her gift and love of song and piano and organ playing. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; Raymond ” Butch” Wilcox, June 2014 and by one brother; Willford “Lee” Roush.

She is survived by a daughter; Beverly (Ben) Miller of Huntington Wv, and a Son; Joseph Bryan of Middleport, Two sister in Laws; Norma Gail Wilcox of Middleport, Beverly Fetty of Lanesville, along with several nieces and nephews and cousins, and special friends Mike and Cathy Wilfong . 

Services will be Thursday March 30, at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Visitation will be from 10:00am – 12:00 and Funeral services will be held at 12:00, With Pastor Al Hartson officiating. 

Burial will follow at the Miles Cemetery in Rutland. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Holzer, Overbrook Rehabilitation Center, and the Darst Care Home, along with Carrie Kennedy who all cared for her in her final days.
