Robert Vance

Robert Vance, 66, Albany, passed away Thursday May 11, 2023 at his

residence.

     Born August 15, 1956, in Logan, West Virginia, he was the son of Joyce Elam Vance,

of Albany, and the late Mont Vance.  Robert was a Pastor, coal miner, school bus driver, and

OAPSE Union President.

     He is survived by his wife Donna J. Preast Vance, children Andrew Vance (Victoria),

Sophia J. Vance; 8 grandchildren and  a brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Rosemary Vance of Albany.

     In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son Steven Vance.

Services will be Saturday at 1 pm at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home with Minister

Tim Bentley Sr. officiating.  The burial will be in Wells Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday 6-8 pm,

at the funeral home.
