Clara Jean Pullins, age 90
Clara Jean Pullins, age 90, of Gallipolis, died Monday morning November 24, 2014 at Abbyshire Place in Bidwell. Born May 24, 1924 in Gallipolis. She was the daughter of the late W. Earl and Stella Smith Saunders. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, John Paul Pullins, by a sister, Earlene Saunders, and by a brother Jim Saunders.
Jean was a Nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and was a teacher in the Ann Judson Class at the Church.
She is survived by 3 Children, Sue Farley of Harts, WV., John (Laurie) Pullins of Combine, Texas, and Paula Jean (Ron) Darnell of Thurman. Also surviving are 6 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and the children she babysat for who she considered part of her family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Sunday November 30, 2014 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from Noon until the time of service.
