2014 Ohio State Highway Patrol Gallipolis Post Trooper of the Year
GALLIPOLIS/POMEROY –Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Marvin L. Pullins has been selected 2014 Trooper of the Year at the Gallipolis Post.
The selection of Trooper Pullins is in recognition of outstanding service during 2014 at the Gallipolis Post. Fellow officers stationed at the Gallipolis Post, chose Trooper Pullins based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.
Trooper Pullins is now in contention for the District and State Trooper of the Year Award to be announced at a later date.
Trooper Pullins joined the Highway Patrol in 2002 and has served at the Athens and Gallipolis Post. He is originally from Gallipolis, Ohio and a graduate of Gallia Academy High School. Other Highway Patrol awards received in the past include: Criminal Patrol Award in 2012.
Trooper Pullins and his wife Star live in Bidwell, Ohio and attend Gallipolis Christian Church.
