Dennis L. Facemyer

Dennis L. Facemyer, 84 Albany, passed away at his residence Saturday, October 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 15, 1939, in Sissonville, WV. the son of the late George Lovell and Leora Underwood Facemyer.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran, and co-owner of Facemyer Lumber Company.  He was a member of the McArthur Eagles, Pomeroy American Legion, and Hocking Valley Sportsman Association.

      He is survived by children Denny Facemyer (Cindy), Bill Facemyer (Cheryl) both of Pomeroy, and Dawn Sharkins (Tony) of Albany; seven grandchildren, Action, Scout, Daschle, Jett, Blaise, Sharp and Pyper; four great-grandchildren, Timber, Sapphire, Brave and Valley; brothers Eugene Facemyer (Darla) of Albany, Vernon Facemyer (Millie) of Apple Grove, WV., Les Facemyer (Karen) of Ripley, WV., sisters Phyllis Renk (Ray) of Arlington, WA., and Mary McCandless (Norman) of Collegdale,TN.

     Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Facemyer

     Friends may call at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home on Saturday November 11, 2023, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with graveside services immediately following at Athens Memory Gardens, with Pastor Donnie Quesinberry officiating and Military Services by Albany VFW Post 9893 and K.T. Crossen Post #21 American Legion.
