Trick-or-Treat Times for Meigs County and Related Events

It is that time of year for trick-or-treaters to be going door-to-door or trunk-to-trunk in our communities.

Meigs County

Syracuse – Oct. 25 from 6-7 p.m. will be trick-or-treat.

Chester – On Oct. 31 Chester will have trick-or-treat from 6-7 p.m. The Chester Volunteer Fire Department will host a Halloween Party from 4-6 p.m. The Chester United Methodist Church will host ‘Treat Trail’ from 6-7 p.m.

Middleport – Oct. 31 Middleport will hold trick-or-treat from 6-7 p.m.

Pomeroy – Treat Street Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. Trick-or-treat will be on Main and Court Streets. There will be a costume contest.

Racine – Oct. 31 from 6-7 p.m. Following trick-or-treat the Racine Fire Department is bringing back their Halloween Party at the station starting at 7 p.m.

Reedsville – Oct. 31 from 6-7 p.m. Reedsville will have trick-or-treat.

Rutland – Oct. 31 from 6-7 p.m. for the Village of Rutland. Following trick-or-treat at the Rutland Civic Center there will be a Halloween Dance at 7 p.m. Costume Contest at 7:30 p.m. The Haunted House starts at 8:30 p.m.

Tuppers Plains – Oct. 31 6-7 p.m. for the Tuppers Plains area.

Trunk-or-Treat Events

Carmel-Sutton Church will hold a Trunk-or-Treat event at their church parking lot on Oct. 25 from 6-7 p.m. There will be hot dogs and lots of candy. Questions concerning Trunk-or-Treat, call 740-949-2229 or email [email protected].

Arbors at Pomeroy will host a Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 29 from 6-7 p.m. First, second, and third place prizes for Best Trunk. Food, drinks, music, and treats will be available. Nightmare on Main Street

Wolfe Mountain Entertainment will hold their annual Nightmare on Main Street haunted house experience on Oct. 28-29 and Oct. 30-31 from 7-9 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. Wolfe Mountain Entertainment is located at 320 E Main St, Pomeroy, OH 45769.
