Two teenagers are in custody after attempting to burglarize a gun store in Garland.

According to Garland police, a burglary attempt occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on September 26 at 5219 Broadway Blvd., the location of Lateral Limits Gun Shop.

According to police, when cops arrived, a moving truck had been driven into the front of the store.

According to authorities, surveillance footage captured numerous individuals involved in the crime. The individuals fled the scene in several passenger automobiles.

The police asserted that they did not seize anything from Lateral Limits.

During the inquiry, a detective discovered that one of the vehicles utilized in the burglary attempt was linked to an incident in Lewisville earlier that morning, in which two minors were apprehended. A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were later charged with building burglary.

The teenagers are being housed at the Denton County Juvenile Detention Center. Garland police said more charges could be brought and other people could be identified.
